In the technical world, a gadget, appliance, or any electrical device should be plugged in to get energy. Depending on the case, it should be connected to an outlet of 110-220 volts. If your favorite cell phone or laptop loses battery, it needs to be plugged in to recharge. If you try using a coffemaker without hooking it up, it won’t work. Because it gets energy from the main source-electricity.
