Last Friday, September 17, 2010, Pastor Jeff conducted a seminar about blogging that was attended by 18 people from SBC-Makati and SBC-Masinag. Eating disorders in the youth are becoming more and more common these days. Anorexia nervosa, Bulemia nervosa, Compulsive overeating — all are rooted back to a problem within. These disorders are serious problems that need special care and attention.

The potential of internet is really huge. I am so happy to announce that our church and our JIVE Youth group are searchable over the internet. We cannot anymore count the number of people who have visited just because they searched a particular search string on Google and landed on our website!

Another reason to celebrate JIVE Youth Friend Day is the 27 professions of faith during the event. A total of 72 young people attended the evangelistic event and we are just thrilled to be able to hold this once a month special program to reach out to the community in Makati.

JIVE Youth has been around since 2004 and with most of the pilot members now leading the group. We cannot help but be proud of our young people. They have owned the ministry and right now they take care of practically every single part of programs involving JIVE.
