Our ministry outreach in General Pio del Pilar has been around for a while. To encourage students to attend JIVE Youth’s Saturday outreach at the school gym, our ministry offers free martial arts training for students and young people.
JIVE Youth has been conducting its free classes on Freestyle Martial Arts since last year. The young people who take interest in taking the program attend every Thursday at 4:30pm. We recently were able to purchase martial arts gear to further help the trainees during their sparring sessions.
Why exactly do we do the things we do? Are we living the purpose for which we are here for? These are the things that every individual ought to think about as we go about our daily lives. Even as Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 1:2 “Meaningless! Meaningless!” says the Teacher. “Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless.”
