May 30, 2010 Youth Service
Pastor Olan Villasenor was the guest speaker for May 30′s youth service. It was yet another awesome time for the youth as they got together for a fun and fruitful time of ministry and fellowship.
Pastor Olan has been conducting Taekwondo classes for some JIVE Youth members. Last May 30, 2010, Pastor Olan promoted Pastor Jeff to black belt after the JIVE Youth Service. Challenging the members of the youth to keep on and work their way towards acquiring the martial arts belts.
The purpose is not to encourage violence. But to promote self control and proper defense. Unlike what most life insurance quotes would offer and claim, our confidence solely comes from God-confidence. It is also through this avenue that we are able to reach out to interested young people as it courses them towards the youth ministry.
