God’s Layering
You can say that Christian life is like an onion. The moment you become a member of God’s family, the peeling starts. There are days when you will be faced with situations unimaginable. Sometimes it lasts longer than you expected; at times it’s just for a little while.
Every situation calls for a single layering. God peels every bad onion skin you got – one coating at a time. Sometimes, He uses spiritual sieves to separate you from bad habits and unnecessary lifestyle. It may seem painful at the moment but in the end you will realize that you became stronger and a little more like Christ.
