JIVE ends Basketball Match at 62-56
SBC -Makati was hailed champion of this year’s basketball mini league held on the 24th of May 2010 at the Kingsville Subdivision Basketball Court. They left a 6- point lead having 62pts. and their opponent, Group A of SBC- Masinag with 56pts.
On May 21, Friday was the single elimination round held at the same subdivision’s covered court. Group A of SBC- Masinag won in the first game headed by Ren Russel Surigao versus group B of the said church headed by Agustin Linga.
Pastor Jeffrey Aspacio (Pastor Jeff), head of SBC-Makati, with the members of JIVE: Ric Demcie Obispo; Wilmar Duldulao; Rholand Matias; Ronald Raon; James Castillones; Von Ryan Felizmena; and Joe Mari Varias won in the second game with 71pts. versus SBC- Santolan lead by Erwin Ibana with 52pts.
“The purpose of the mini league was to facilitate the fellowship among youth ministries involved,” Pastor Jeff.
