May 28, 2010 Pre-Enrollment Seminar at GPDPHS
Last May 28, 2010 Breaking Point Foundation with the cooperation of JIVE Youth volunteers went off to General Pio del Pilar High School in Makati to conduct their third year of Pre-Enrollment Seminar. Pastor Jeff held a seminar catering to the parents and guardians of students and the student themselves of the school who have had problems in the previous school year and those who are yet to enroll. Schools being pro-active in this manner forces parents to be intentional as they partner with the school to nurture their children.
Weeks before some school have already kicked off “Brigada Eskwela” where students and parents volunteer to prep the school facilities for the next school year by cleaning up and repainting. With the event of Mesothelioma getting widespread, we are hoping schools take care not to use paints with asbestos. There are still a few of them in the market.
