Plugged In
In the technical world, a gadget, appliance, or any electrical device should be plugged in to get energy. Depending on the case, it should be connected to an outlet of 110-220 volts. If your favorite cell phone or laptop loses battery, it needs to be plugged in to recharge. If you try using a coffemaker without hooking it up, it won’t work. Because it gets energy from the main source-electricity.
A christian life revolves around this concept. When you stay attached to reading God’s Word, you feel all-powered up. But once you disconnect yourself from Him, and depend on your own self decisions and ability, there will come a time that you will lose your strength. It’s like a laptop without a battery; mic cables without electricity. So, it is important to always plug yourself in to God, immerse yourself in prayer, and go deeper in His Word.
