Book review of HOT by Laura Smith by Clariss
Clariss, one of JIVE Youth’s core leader has finished HOT by Laura L. Smith in one day and was even able to publish her very own review on her blog post about it. Here’s a snippet of her review:
I thought i’d read it on installment. BUT Laura’s accurate hand writing made me hold it the whole day and I’m very impressed over her passion and courage on how she attacks a really tough subject.
Lindsey (main character) was so real and was the representation of today’s generation. Her experiences, struggles and temptations when it somes to purity made it more realistic. I’m sure lots of young people (especially young women) can relate to this novel.
I cannot help but look forward to reading this book now that she has returned it. Make sure to watch out for posts on this page and will let you guys know what books are available for your reading. I have a few books coming up from Thomas Nelson which I’m really excited about.
Reading good books is a good habit that I continually encourage the young people to nurture. If I were to choose between having to review tons of books against all the other review I have been doing including jacuzzi tubs and all the random stuff I have to get done on a daily basis, I’m sure to choose reviewing books in a heartbeat.
